Matt Horton came highly recommended to us from one of our neighbors. He was very quick to respond to our initial inquiry. In fact, he set an appointment for that same afternoon to come and look at our home and give us recommendations for preparing it to sell. He was not pushy with respect to us immediately signing a listing agreement. He wanted to do his research to determine the comps in the area and what would be a competitive price for our home. As a result, we not only listed our home with him but took his recommendations seriously. We even allowed some pre-listing showings while we were still painting our home. Unbeknownst to my husband and I, Matt had been marketing the heck out of our home. One of the pre-listing showings resulted in an amazing offer that we just couldn’t pass up. Matt was able to negotiate higher earnest money amount and really shorten the escrow time to ensure the contract would go through.
